Presents her experience with the Rotary Youth Exchange in Canada.

Organizer(s):
  • Michel Faltz

Madeleine had the privilege of being part of the Rotary Youth Exchange (RYE) Program. The RYE program is an international exchange program run by Rotary International. Her presentation will focus on the ambitions of this program: - Global Cultural Exchange: The program allows students between the ages of 15 and 19 to live in another country for a year, immersing themselves in a different culture, language, and way of life. Participants become "ambassadors of goodwill" and learn about global issues, making lifelong connections. - Focus on Leadership and Personal Growth: Beyond cultural exchange, RYE emphasizes leadership development, community service, and personal growth. Students are encouraged to take part in various Rotary service projects, which helps them develop skills in leadership, communication, and problem-solving. Madeleine will share her experience in Canada as a exchange student of the Simcoe Rotary Club in District 7090.
