The project leverages the financial knowledge of our members and was initiated by Edoardo: considering the ultimate goal of Rotary, the intent is to use all available resources to make an impact.
The Club sets out to lend 400-500 EUR to each borrower, for up to EUR 1,300 exposure. All repayments are lent again in a revolving fashion, until full consumption of the funds allocated by the Club.
So far, the lives of three persons were affected by lending the Club's "idle" money, at no expense (fully reimbursed).
Goal
Help as many people as possible. Once repayments come in, the objective of the Club is to lend the money again, until all funds are consumed (i.e. lost to non-repaid loans).
